My furry little girl Isabeau’s nickname is “Squiggly” because when she was a kitten she was so squiggly wiggly. I took a photo of her smiling up at me and decided to paint her pawtrait. Isabeau was found as a one month old kitten by the side of the road, and was very ill. Some teens found her and took her to our vet, who saved her life, but unfortunately could not save her eyes. They had to be removed, so she is blind. As a result of the surgery, she also only has eyebrows on one side of her face. Her blindness does not hinder her in the least – she is a force of nature and rules our home with an iron paw……..just as she should! I love her so much and spoil her rotten!
