I am absolutely fascinated by Boudicca, Queen of the Iceni, an ancient Celtic population of Iron Age Britain. This fierce woman, mother and warrior queen took on the Roman army and won three times in 60 ad before succumbing in a fourth and final battle. According to Roman accounts, she was tall with a mass of hip length auburn hair, had a fierce stare and was extremely intelligent. This is my feline tribute to this amazing historical figure.
